Hello all! I had a question about preparing meat for my neighbors who are Muslim. They are so generous and always bring food over to myself and my family. I wanted to repay the favor. I am an avid bbq smoker. I do know that they can’t eat pork, and that beef must be halal. I guess my question is, I have smoked pork on my grill before, so it has touched the cooking surface. Is there a specific way to sanitize the cooking so that I can cook them beef that would allow them to eat what I have cooked on it? Or should I buy a new grill grate that I set aside just for food that will be served to them?
