Wanted to say Eid Mubarak! Today for the first time I’m celebrating Eid completely alone after leaving an abusive family and of course I felt lonely and cried during Eid prayer.
Then the Imam shared the experience of our Prophet Ibrahim in perfect timing. He was also alone, but had his belief and was confident in Allah. Remember, Allah is always with us.
So if you are alone, or new to Islam and don’t have a community yet…I hope you dress up and treat yourself to a special day. You deserve it, you are loved. 💕💕He is always with you, blessing you and showing you in little ways.
