Assalamuakaikum, I am just overwhelmed with so much anxiety and feel like a weird mistake, I don’t fit into the muslim community. I can’t talk to my parents about it and my friends don’t really understand how much this bothers me and I don’t want to burden them with this until they finally take it serious. I never acted on my same sex attractions. This whole thing started a bit over a year ago during a personal crisis of mine that I fell for a girl, a very close friend of mine, and I have had feelings for her ever since. I have tried to block them out and even made sure we lost contact but I still see her everyday in school. And sometimes I am just hit with these emotions and can’t block them out anymore. I also started to feel attracted to other girls. I have never been in love with a boy with such intense feelings. I do feel attracted to boys but at the same time I feel kind of disgusted with them and can’t imagine a genuine relationship with them. Muslims don’t really give helpful advice here. They just say don’t act on these urges and they mostly focus a lot about the sexual aspect of those relationships. But I am not interested in sex, no matter the gender. I desire a romantic relationship with lots of cuddles, kisses, hugs, sleeping together, etc. I know that I am expected to marry at some point, but I am scared of feeling either nothing for my husband or feeling guilty because I have to keep my attraction’s secret from him as he probably wouldn’t have married me otherwise. I am scared of having to live a sexual relationship. I would do sex, but only if it is for the sake of making children.
Most muslims come with the story of Lot, but that doesn’t help me at all as I am not experiencing that lust. I just feel so dirty and wrong simply for having those attractions and I also feel a bit doubtful as I can’t understand why Allah forbid this relationship. Like I understand it but I still want it to be allowed. I understand the reasons yet deep down I wish he allowed it. I tried to fall in love with a boy I liked, but I couldn’t force myself to. I tried to find someone to marry, even asked my parents to search for a husband but they didn’t take it seriously as I am still young. Yes, fasting, praying tahadjud (night prayer) and doing religious acts helps but only temporarily and they make me so tired I can’t function properly at school. Some muslims are not compassionate when it comes to this topic. I haven’t sinned or wronged anyone, I talk to them asking for guidance but some (who just happen to have boyfriends too and be flirty) tell me I shouldn’t talk about it as it is sinful and just spreads it. No one really cares about that form of sin and they even show compassion for a sin. Yet I haven’t sinned but I am treated like I have. I understand that I shouldn’t go around telling everyone, but I just want help from other muslims. I pray to Allah (swt) a lot asking him to make me right again and help me get rid of these desires and find a good husband and it does get better sometimes but then it gets worse again and it never completely goes away. The formula is supposed to have "highly pigmented, creamy color" that gives a "natural, sun-kissed glow" with a "hint of shimmer." The shades had buildable coverage from semi-sheer to medium to fully opaque, though it was fairly opaque when iniitally applied--it was just very blendable to the point where it was better built up in layers. I'd recommend letting each layer dry down before adding another on top for more opacity, though.
The texture was lightweight, emollient, and like a gel-cream--spreadable without being too thick or too thin. I liked patting it on top of my skin using fingertips, but a synthetic brush also worked. I didn't have issues with it lifting up base products, thankfully. The formula turned more velvety as it dried down and did leave a more semi-matte finish behind after about 15-20 seconds.
The finish was subtly pearly and combined with the underlying semi-matte finish, it had the effect of a soft satin. Some shades were more pearlescent and truer to a satin finish, though. Most shades lasted around eight to eight and a half hours on me before showing signs of fading on me.

Vieve Sorbet Sunset Blush ($32.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark pink-coral with subtle, warm undertones and barely-there gold pearl over a more semi-matte finish. It had opaque color coverage where a little went a long way, so it was hard to control the level of coverage, even though the brand said that it could be used with a lighter hand for more buildable pigmentation.
You’d want to buff out the color with leftover foundation (on one’s brush or sponge, etc.) to diffuse and soften the intensity, but it was very challenging to do it with a lighter-hand/less-dense brush.
The texture was soft, somewhat powdery, and on the drier side, which translated to a product that did not blend out as readily as ideal. It stayed on well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.

The formula is supposed to have "high colour pay off" but be "easy to build and blend." The pigmentation was semi-opaque to opaque, buildable, and I'd argue that they were pigmented enough where it wasn't "easy" to build up as the color tended to sit where initially applied and wasn't as readily spread out and diffused as top tier blush formulas are.
The finish was more satin to semi-matte, so not overtly shimmery (except one shade, at the time of review), but not a true matte finish either. The consistency was fairly soft, slightly drier and thinner, with light to moderate powderiness in the pan. It was a decent blush formula but not the most blendable and was most forgiving applied over a matte base (whether set with powder, drier skin, etc.). The thinner/drier feel made it more prone to emphasizing skin texture (like any flakiness).

Salaamw alaikum. I have been talking to a guy for 2 months now with both of us fully intent on marrying (his siblings and mum are aware as are my siblings and mum). Right before he was about to tell his dad and take the first steps towards actually coming for my hand in marriage we got into an argument that wasn’t serious but he impulsively suggested we don’t get married (he does so every time we argue) and I was so sick of it and so hurt that I took it as final. We stopped talking for a few days and I was horribly depressed, spending the first few days nonstop crying. My brother took me out 4/5 days after us breaking things off and I took 2 tiktoks and posted them (I am in full hijab in both). However we got back in touch a couple days after those tiktoks with me reaching out just to see if things are really over. He is now telling me he still wants to marry me but because of my tiktoks his perception of me has changed. I don’t know how pertinent this is but he did actually meet me through tiktok lol so it’s not like I’ve done a complete 180 on him. He is saying very hurtful things like “had I known you were like this I would’ve never talked to you” and “I feel like my wife is for the world”. He says I disrespected him and the dynamics of our relationship has changed and he no longer trusts me.
I guess I’m just wondering if this type of reaction is justified. I do regret posting and I haven’t gotten defensive and argumentative but I just don’t know where to go from here. Have I done something so heinous? Should I give up on us?
