Salam everyone, in an effort to learn more about my deen I had a lingering question. We are often told that allah accepts any dua that a believer makes. I'm already are of how it may be given. But, when we are told that at certain times allah doesnt reject a dua like laylatul qadar, before breaking a fast, that special time in jummah. So my question is, if a dua is accepted what is the significance of having those special instances that I mentioned above?

someone pointed out to me that the prophet didn't belong to a sect. Of course i know the story behind why we have sects, but i never really thought about it like that before. Now im unsure if i should continue identifying as a sunni, or just call myself muslim.

Same for the Jewish method of slaughtering I guess. I've been taught my whole life that halal slaughter would cause the animal less pain, but I'm reading elsewhere that it is less humane than stunning an animal before killing it. Wouldn't immediately decapitating or knocking out it out before slaughter be less painful for the animal, compared to if it suffocated before it died by cutting the windpipe and neck veins? I am ignorant on the topic in general, so I'd like to know the official answer on it.

It seemed to have more medium, buildable coverage when initially squeezed out of the tube, but in practice, it was sheer and difficult to build up due to how quickly it sheered out and how much it dried down.
The product lacked the ease of blendability that I’d expect from a cream blush, and I found it looked patchy, clung to dry patches, and was unflattering as the shimmer very much sat on the surface of the skin. It lifted up foundation very readily, but it didn’t even work well on bare skin. It stayed on well for six hours before fading noticeably.

The formula is supposed to have a "natural-looking finish" with a whipped feel that is "non-cakey" and "lasts all day." The pigmentation was described as a "buildable flush," though it was more semi-sheer and hard to build up as the formula very quick-drying and harder to blend out/layer up without creating patchiness or lifting up the initial layer (or worse, one's foundation).
The pearl in each shade seemed too large, so they contributed to patchiness and the product moving around without adhering evenly. It was one of the harder cream blushes to use in more recent memory. They showed signs of fading after six hours on my cheeks.
I found the wide and squat squeeze tube to be harder to dispense product, often getting a lot of air and having to really squeeze to get product out... and other times, a barely-there squeeze dispensed more product than needed!

I am looking for a job abroad. Recently I am considering to get a job in engineering, but it is in a FIFO (fly-in fly-out) nature to remote sites. What is the dalil regarding jummah prayer should I accept this job? Obviously I am not be able to perform jummah prayer if I am in a remote site. I understand if this is a temporary thing, I can be considered as "musafir", however the schedule is fixed i.e. I will be travelling on weekly basis, and have to miss jummah prayer every week, possibly for the rest of my working life. Is there any exemption based on hadith that I can follow on this?.
I am Sunni Muslim, from Malaysia.
EDIT: The country I am looking for is a non-muslim majority country, so there won't be any mosque or community nearby.

One thing that isn't clear to me is the nature of the believer's paradise in Islam. Many sources I've seen promise material pleasures like fine wine, virgins and large feasts. Why would life in heaven be anything like it is on earth? Sexual pleasure seemed particularly suspect to me. As far as I know new souls are created on earth, so there is no procreation in heaven and thus no need for the sex instinct. The whole idea seems to clash hard with Islam's acetic principles and with much of doctrine which characterizes carnal desires as inherently sinful and symptomatic of earthly existence. Would it not be more sensible for those desires to be simply removed upon entry, like mental and physical illness?

That “full coverage” claim was really where the formula went awry! It was more semi-sheer to medium for most shades with a few of the darker reds being closer to semi-opaque to opaque coverage. It was more like a tinted balm with noticeable transparency, which some like, so this definitely seemed like a product that marketed itself wrong!
