Yesterday something really great happened to me. I had some savings in my room, so I wanted to extract zakat from these savings. I went to the Bank to deposit the amount that I was about to giveaway and I also added a seventh of those savings to giveaway as sadaqah I really wanted that money, but I had faith that Allah would give me more than what I wanted. and once I returned home I opened The Quran and in the first page I opened at this verse was in it:
( Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned) 2:245
subhan Allah. I cried when I read it. it's as if Allah is talking with me and promises me that I would be rewarded. for Allah his great and mighty self to promise me directly like that it really made me happy. this is my first time giving zakat, so it encouraged me to do a lot more giveaways in the future ensha'Allah. I wanted to share my story to motivate you guys. thank you for reading.
