I am planning on moving soon, and the only people I trust as roommates, financially and mentally, are two trans friends of mine.

Ive been planning to move for physical and mental health reasons (my home is toxic which affects my mental health and that in turn worsens my physical health).

My mother has been constantly trying to come up with excuses to keep me at home, but I know, and my doctors know, if I stay my health will get worse and worse. Her most recent was how it was unforgivable to live with gays, and that moving away to live with them, even though it would be separate rooms, kind of like a communal living space, would be absolutely terribly haram, as it would be the same as supporting them (living together makes the payments cheaper).

My argument is, what is the difference then if my coworker or boss is gay? Would it be haram to work for, supporting them? What is the problem if I live with them and keep my living space where I pray and sleep clean and without their intrusion? Does Allah decree the whole roof of the house or my ceiling of where i sleep and pray my home? Does it become permissible to live with gays, if it is sinful, if it means that my health improves and my deen improves as well? (I have not been too active in my faith because of my depression, prayer wise, but I have tried to keep my knowledge updated and listen to weekly vlogs from imams to reflect upon).
