I hope questions are allowed here. I was just wondering why, for most things the laws and tenets of Islam do not apply to people who do not practice the faith.
A Muslim would not say anything about a non-Muslim eating pork or committing shirk.
Why then, must non-Muslims conform to the rule of not depicting Muhammad. Why is it not a rule for only those who believe in the faith to follow. I ask this question with the utmost respect to your spiritual and individual beliefs.
