Both inscriptions lack dots on letters so date before Hajjaj bin Yusuf - and quite possibly to the time of the first four khalifas.

The first seems a bit political? Perhaps written by a follower of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).

The second is a prayer for 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him).
