Beautiful reminder of how the disposition of a believer ought to be

🎓Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said (paraphrased): ❝When Allaah تعالى intends good for His slave, He تعالى removes from his heart the remembrance of the good deeds that he had done (so that pride doesn't overtake him), and He تعالى prevents his tongue from speaking about his good deeds (so that he doesn't boast about it to others), and He تعالى keeps him preoccupied with remembering his sins (so that he frequently seeks Allaah's forgiveness for his actions), and this feeling (of remorse for his misdeeds) remains with him till he enters the Jannah.❞
