Assalamualaikum, I have a question that I couldn’t find the answers on the internet or through anyone as there’s no local imam to ask.

In order to understand the question that I’m about to ask lets seperate non halal meat into two types.

First type is non halal meat that is outright haram such as pork, dog, cat, monkey, etc that is not permissible to eat no matter how you slaughter it and any halal meat that made contact with any of these meat will become haram.

Second type is non halal meat that is not permissible to eat only because it’s not slaughtered properly but it will be halal if slaughtered properly such as beef, chicken, lamb, camel, etc.

Now my question is regarding the second type of non halal meat. When a halal meat made contact with non halal meat, does it render the halal meat haram? What’s the state of the second type of non halal meat, is it simply haram? Or is there a neutral state?

JazakAllah khair.
