I had always been of the impression that shias and sunis weren't all that different, I guess that's just what I've always been taught. I considered groups such as the qadianis to be heretics. Today I watched the final episode of the Umar series. Searching the assassin of Umar on google led me down a rabbit hole which completely changed my view of shias and iranians in general, and honestly also created some hatred in my heart for them, however unfortunate that may be.
I'm currently finding it hard to understand how muslims who are not ignorant on the topic manage to defend these people?
