As an American Muslim I am shocked to see so much rampant and blatant islamophobia around me. I wasn’t in the US when 9/11 happened, but several of my family and friends who were here, all think it is worse than that time right now.
Does anyone else feel this rising hatred for Muslims around them? If so, how are you all dealing with this?
Are you doing anything to combat this? I feel so villainized as a Muslim in the west and wish that Muslims worked together rather being split along ethnic and sectarian lines.
