assalamu alaikum .
I’ll be gone soon but my entire family is Christian and I don’t care to tell them I’ve been Muslim for a while and don’t want to but when I die I’m sure they’ll have a Christian funeral in a church because that is their tradition. I personally couldn’t care less where my body goes or whatever they do with it because Allah knows my heart but I’m not sure if it really matters or if I could somehow be punished for this . Do I need to make arrangements for a proper Muslim burial or does it not matter. I would like to just let it be to avoid unnecessary questions/hooplah. Thanks
