Peace be upon you,
Let me tell you the story of a man that will glorify allah and his unmatched wisdom.
The story is of a young boy who was forced to support his family at a very young age.
when he was only twelve years old he had to work with selling tobacco and he used to work really hard, and for 2 year all he did was work and give everything he earned to his parents who needed his support at the time.
When he turned 14 years old he was offered a golden opportunity to travel to the neighbouring country lebanon where he can work and earn more, with that in mind Mohammad traveled and dreamed of prosperous return from what would be a new chapter in his life.
Sadly, it would be a miserable chapter he got caught on his way to lebanon and he had no documents to verify his identity which resulted in him going to prison.
Can you imagine a 14 year old in a prison when others his age would go outside to play?
he was stuck in a brutal jail where there was barely any space for him to even sleep.
For 2 years he would stand up for 8 hours straight and sleep sitting down.
most people in that position would question Allah about the judgement but Mohamad didn't, sure he would be angry at times but he never stopped thanking allah and put all is trust into him.
at 17 years old, Mohamad would be released from jail under a judge's decision claiming: " you shouldn't be here to begin with"
Mohamad at that time was frightened by the outcome of such a event, it's been 3 years in jail and he doesn't even know how to live in the real world anymore, he cried tears of desperation and headed back home to his family, but he was greeted with more jail time for having no identity documents, he stayed another 5 month in jail, and when he was released it was time for him to finally start seeking a future and he started working in a restaurant for a short while.
When he turned 18 he totally forgot about it but at the time that meant he has to go to the military, and that thought came crashing down on him, for 4 years he couldn't catch his breathe for once up until now, he found a good job and can work to improve his skills and go up through the ranks and give his family the support they need and now he has to do obligatory miltary, He just couldn't cope but he moved on to the military camp and he was at his 10th day through brutal exercise when he thought I won't stay I will run away and leave the country.
A meeting was held and between 2800 soliders there was 4 names called up and the 4th was mohammad, at the time all he could think was oh god, how did they know that I was planning to run away, did they read my thoughts, oh god how.
They called him up and said: We can see here you worked in restaurants and they started asking him about his skills, after questioning him they promoted him to work in the officer regime meal prep, and he had to prepare meals for 2800 soliders along with his companions ofcourse.
All the years he suffered where all brought back to one decision that would lift his heart up, and he started to work more and more on his skills, all the pain he had endured in prison, all the patience it took from him was a strength that only he between the officers had. You see to the ordinary man working 12 hours was difficult but for mohamad it was entertaining, because before that he was standing up for 12 hours.
He flew through the ranks and upgraded his skills with the years and from there it was time to reap the fruits of his hard work, he not only was able to support his family but was making more than enough to start his own family and they can live with ease and blessings.
With difficulty, there is ease.
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
With difficulty there is ease and the Wisdom of allah stands beyond time, You see everything in the Holy quran from start to finish will be applicable today and 1400 years ago, because the word of Allah doesn't age, so with difficulty there is ease whether you were forced by allah to endure a difficulty or you choose to do it on your own, it will always result in ease.
If you work hard when your friends are playing there will be ease.
if you go to the gym and endure the pain of the weights you lift there will be ease.
Allah's pattern and way never changes and it never will.
Suffering is good for you because you shine when you suffer.
look at america now where people aren't forced to do anything with difficulty how depressed and delusional they have become, and that goes for the majority.
The reason the islamic countries suffer is not because Allah favours the non muslims but rather for us to truly enjoy life, we have to go through difficulty because without it, we would have no use for ease.
I hope this story helped
