Does anyone have experience getting married where one person has a very religious world view (looks at religious perspective on all issues) and the other person has a much more liberal world view. They are practicing but most of the time just do what they see others doing or accustomed to doing- isn’t necessarily connected to Islamic scholarship or interested in learning what’s right and wrong.
Are these types of people largely incompatible? For example for issues such as dress they say that I feel like leggings with a long sweater is modest but the other person feels like from a religious perspective it’s not because it’s form fitting. How does one navigate these types of issues or should they just avoid the marriage completely?
