I'm ready to revert but it's like something is always holding me back (addiction)

Hello Islam. It's been a long journey coming for me and I think I am ready to revert but I feel like excuses keep holding me back.

To start, I wanted to follow Christianity. I gave it a genuine effort because I loved the story of Jesus Christ and I read the whole bible (NJKV). I don't know why I wanted to be a Christian, I think it's probably because it's what's the most accessible where I live. I never believed Jesus was God or that the trinity was "this important" element of Christianity but apparently it is. I had some debates online and in person about the trinity, it's origin, it's justification and so fourth and I felt that the deeper I dug the more truth was revealed to the point where I ended up dismantling the entire bible and seeing it for what it actually was. My intention is not to disrespect the bible or the faith but I now know why Muslims have always argued that the book had been manipulated. Every time I "denied the trinity" I would almost become ousted from Christianity and even called a Muslim (hah!).

So - I said, okay, let's see what this whole Muslim thing is all about. I started by reading the Quran (turns out, it wasn't the best translation for a beginner and so I am re reading it, slowly and objectively) and what I found was - this book is amazing. I then started watching people on Youtube - guy's like Shayth, Mufti, 3 Muslim's and then some reverts like myself such as Bobby's Perspective or The Tate's people, I especially liked listening to Sartorial Shooter.

I can say, I am now sold on Islam.
I no longer have a strong belief in Christianity, at all.
I really, really want to take my Shahada... but....

I don't know when I'll be ready or even capable of devoting myself entirely to Islam.

I am struggling with alcoholism and as much as I want to "quit cold turkey" it literally never works and I likely need both medical intervention and / or rehab. It's not massive alcoholism but it's every single day drinking beers alcoholism. I've tried to justify to myself that " as long as it's not from grapes or dates " and " I don't pray while LITERALLY intoxicated " then it should be okay - but I know that I need to change my ways truthfully.

Should I try to conquer these demons before I revert?

I (22M) am financially stable & want to marry a disabled girl/lady (no matter if she's older than me) to help support her & bring a little joy to her life.

Is there any place where I can find potential female partners who're disabled?

Any advice would help. JazakAllah.

Abusive brother please advise. My life is becoming torturous

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

I'm in a very depressing, hard situation. Long story short, my older brother is extremely disgusting. No diagnosis off any mental health. He is plain rude.

My mum got diagnosed with psychosis when we were young, he took advantage and now at 25 he pays no contribution to house ZERO £, calls her a bi***, she HAS to cook for him everyday without fail. My dad also had mental health depression which he took advantage off. He doesn't work or want to claim benefits.

I care for both my parents and help financially. My dad is ready to kick him out and stopped speaking to him years ago but my mum will never agree. Despite how he treats her. Also my mum is a unwell due to mental health. Realistically mum will never kick him out.

He swears at my dad too, sometimes me and used to throw hoovers and things down the stairs in arguments. I am so depressed I can't live another day without my legs shaking in depression and burden in my heart. He also says honest to Allah for small things astaghfirullah! He calls his parents pig/jews and more. Im scared for him, I fear so badly the major sin he is getting oh my days. He is absolutely disgusting and took advantage when my parents became unwell. Then my house structure went downhill. My parents are 50. He calls my mum more insults, and she is medicated so doesn't feel the full effects. We have no family to turn too.

please no links to charity organisations with all due respect we can't go on that route.

I guess there isn't a easy solution. Any advice, hopeful quotes, and please do dua for me. My dad says his the resson him and my mum will pass away soon😓😭 I genuinely am so depressed, broken and i cant live this life im trying to be strong for my parents.

Formula Overview

$7.50/0.074 oz. - $101.35 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have "silky-rich pigment" with a "blendable, soft-cream-gel." The majority of the shades were quite pigmented with very little product needed to get full opacity. I found that the finish of the shades tended to be quite shiny--they looked wet even though they did not feel that way.

The texture was lightweight, lightly emollient but more of a cream-to-powder product as it did not feel overly slick or wet when initially picked up or as it dried down. The dry down was powder-like as it remained somewhat blendable and very flexible, so it wasn't smudge-proof (like if one wiped their eyes) but did have good longevity as there was no fading or creasing unil after 9 hours of wear.
