Hi Guys,

I’m not muslim and I’m reading the Quran right now, and I read this, on the bottom of the page in “The Clear Quran” in English and it’s some where along the lines of this (page 110) - Al-Lawh Al-Mahfûz (Preserved tablet) is that God has written the destiny of his entire creation.

I have 2 questions:

  • Al-Lawh Al-Mahfûz (Preserved tablet) is that God has written the destiny of his entire creation. So since God planned everything, how do we have free-will? If everything is written in the records and meant to happen, no matter what we do we would be lead down that path, so how does that correlate to freewill?

  • Also since God knows everything, he knew that Adam would be deceived by Satan to eat the apple from the forbidden tree. Why didn’t God prevent that situation and get angry at Adam and Eve if he knew that, it was meant to happen?

Thanks again
