I’m a convert and the validity of the Hadith has never sat right with me. One of the major reasons I left Christianity was because it’s obvious that the Bible has been changed. We believe the Bible has been compromised because it was written by men who weren’t given divine revelation, that it’s also been compromised over time, added to, adjusted for political gains etc. so essentially the Bible is hearsay to a point and we only know the truth of some stories and Prophets because Allah gave divine revelation to the Prophet Muhamed pbuh to clarify and we know the Quran has never been changed from the beginning of revelation. But Hadith… it takes word of mouth from people who never had divine revelation and would have just written something based on their own perspective of the Prophet’s pbuh life. There’s no way to actually prove these things occurred like this. It honestly feels like Bidah and nothing different than hearsay.

If Allah wanted us to follow things in the Hadith, why wouldn’t he have just put them in the Quran?
