It’s my understanding that in Islam, what a man earns is for the entire family to share, and what a woman earns is for her alone.
In the case of divorce, how are assets divided?
Also, if a woman is permitted by her husband to work, should she then be responsible for the financial costs of child care while she is working, since child care would classically be her responsibility?
