Assalamu Alaikum Brothers and Sisters. Alhamdulilah I’ve been given the privilege to have a religious and pious Mother and Father. However, over the years their relationship has been depreciating to the point where my father feels the need to sleep in a separate room from her. My father has retired and travels the world to study and preach Islam but every few months he comes back home for a short period. When he is here, he takes my bedroom and I’m forced to sleep in the living room. This time, I have finals for uni and can’t afford to reduce my quality of sleep by sleeping on the sofa. I need to convince my dad to sleep in the same room as my mother so I am able to get enough sleep and study time. Any advice you can give to make this happen?
