My family has been invited for iftar for the first fast by my wife’s friend. The friend is a close one but she lives about an hour away. Her other friends are invited.
I am hesitant to accept it simply because the time it will take to travel. I feel like it is waste of time. We will most likely miss taraweeh because how far it is and how tired we will be.
My wife thinks we should accept the invitation. We can pray fard together at the house.
What do y’all think?
Edit: apparently there will be some friends without their mahram.
