As everyone now knows, unfortunately war has started between Russia and Ukraine. I live in another european country, May Allah protect us all, but in worst case scenario if the war comes to my country, my home. Am I allowed to defend it? It's not that I wish to fight for a non muslim country, but I want to defend my home, family, friends and everything we own. I really do not want things to escalate further, everything that's happening is horrible. I just want to go on with my life as I did before, but in worst case scenario I don't want to run away?(As cheesy as it sounds)
If I fight to protect and to defend, is it permissible?
If I die, what kind of death will I have?
Fatwas with sources plz, and if anyone knows, what's the major opinion?
May Allah protect us all and help those who are really suffering!
