Hello! Muslimah here. I reverted a few weeks ago, and would really like to buy some Muslim clothes. I’m mentally ill, so my parents haven’t let me get a job (but allow me to sell art… sadly I often don’t have energy for it). As such, I live with and rely on them.
My mom wasn’t hostile when I asked for a Quran - I said I wanted a Bible, a Torah, and Quran to learn and study so I might get one under the guise of… well, study - but she didn’t let me. At the very least I’d like advice from my Muslimah Sisters on how you convinced your own parents to accept or help you.
And yes it’d be in person shopping - our delivery service hasn’t proved to be exactly… reliable, to say the least.
