I was just debating an atheist, and he asked me something i simply cannot answer.

The question is:

If the Quran is true, it only proves that it is from a mighty and knowledgable being. How do you know that this being is the most powerful, maybe there is a more powerful God that hides hinself and doesn't bother with us?

IN OTHER WORDS, IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO THIS: How do we know, that the God of the Quran is 100% allknowing, so that TRULY NOTHING can escape his knowledge.

And secondly, how do we know that the God of the Quran is not just playing games? How do we know he is truthful? What if he just wanted to convince us to believe, but in the end he just throws us into hellfire?

Audhubillah

Edit: i know it's kind of a silly question, and it doesn't disprove Islam in any way. I was just surprised that he could pose a question that is impossible to answer. But in the end we have evidence for our claim, while he has none
