Alhamdulilah I (20M) plan on telling my parents soon about converting to Islam. After several months of thought, learning, and discussion I have found that my heart has been softened and I am simply more joyous after internalizing the message of Islam. I am confident that they will not disown me or got angry upon hearing this from me, but they are Christian and have little to no formal introduction/education on Islam so I know they will have many concerns, especially regarding terrorism, women, and so on.
Does anyone have any tips so that I can make breaking the news as smooth and peaceful, and perhaps even as joyous, as possible? Thank you!!!
