So music is a very controversial topic on Islam, and I have been looking into it lately. Some people think that it is totally fine, except if it talks about haram stuff or wastes your time ALOT, as there isn't a authentic hadith proving it's haram, others say it is totally haram in all circumstances because it teaches us bad and haram things. So I usually listen to music without lyrics so there isn't anything bad about it and stuff, and I only listen to it while doing work so I don't waste my time and stuff, and still get time for prayers and reciting the Quran. So is it alright to listen to music like this, or should I stop?
