I grew up Roman Catholic in a very christian part of the US. I later started to practice Paganism before denouncing religion all together, as I didn't agree with the teachings. However, I've recently begun reading the Quran and have really been enjoying the teachings and pillars taught and I've come to the conclusion that I wish to convert. I spoke to a Muslim friend of mine and he said I should start by visiting my local masjid. I'm excited but also terrified to do so, as this is very unfamiliar territory to me. What are some things I should know before visiting? Are there any topics I should read up on beforehand? I appreciate any advice that can be given :) Alhamdulillah
