Hi, I wanted to ask in the situation if I a Muslim woman, were to marry a Muslim man and I say I’m only going to be your wife and he agrees and then changes his mind that he wants more wives later on in the marriage.
I’m not talking about a war situation either I’m talking about in general.
What does it say about divorce in Islam on these terms? Is it considered cheating?
PSA: I consider this cheating as we had an agreement before hand and my views on this are if it were to happen to me I would get an immediate divorce. I do not care about the stigma around divorce if something like this were to happen but I wanna know what the stance is in islam.
