Commanding oneself and others to do good deeds and forbidding them from doing bad deeds is one of the qualities of successful people.

Allah Ta'ala says: "Let there be a group among you who call to goodness, command what is good, and forbid from what is evil, and those will be successful."

[Surah Ali'Imran, verse 104]
