Just two quick examples:
- 2022 World Cup in Qatar: many westerns/non-Muslims have taken a key issue with the World Cup being hosted in Qatar due to poor human right worker issues within the country, lack of LGBT acceptance, no alcohol, being a hot country (even though the World Cup has been moved to winter), and corruption, etc.
They're scraping the bottom of the barrel to find any issues. Any yet, the same hypocritical set of people see virtually no issue with the joint world cup hosted by the USA/Canada/Mexico in 2026, even though USA's human rights record is magnitudes worse than that of Qatar since WWII (destabilizing countries, war crimes, killing millions of Muslims, illegal invasions, stealing resources, overthrowing democratically elected governments that do not match their interest whether covertly, or broad day light bombings, drone civilians killings, etc, etc, the list is endless).
Mexico and Canada also have their own human right issues, but understandably, the USA is the elephant in the room. However, I digress. The point is: the same people who are seething and full of vitriol against the World Cup being hosted in a Muslim country like Qatar, do not have a problem with it being hosted in the USA (I reckon many of them are American or European).
- Non-Muslims/Westerns will actively find a way to collectively take a dump on / shit on any progressive or advancing Muslim countries, it's almost as if their subconscious hatred of Muslims/Arabs just can't help but have them collectively shit on anything that Arabs/Muslims accomplish or do. For example, this video entitled Dubai: Parody of the 21st Century criticizes Dubai for having poor urban planning, being guilty of capitalism, plus some slavery for good measure. However, the same can be said of any western city (Las Vegas) for example, just substitute slavery with sex workers & sex slaves & pedophile rings. But I suppose shitting on a famous Western city wouldn't garner you 6+ million views in a week and that many likes.
It's just sad & pathetic at this point. What causes these people to behave in this manner?
