In my opinion, the greatest failure of the Muslim world is the rejection of brotherhood.

After the killing of Calpih Uthman, the schism among Muslims have only grown. There are points in history when Muslims sacked, pillaged, murdered and raped their way through other Muslim countries. Allah has given us the simple task of not to make war with one another and yet we see some of most pervasive civil wars and conflicts in history in Muslim kingdoms.

Now we are at a point where a outwardly hateful country such as China can commit Genocide against it's Muslims, the US can bomb whichever of our countries it wants, and Saudi Arabia can starve an entire country almost to death, there is only minor resistance. The Mongols are often credited with the fall of the Muslim world but other countries have recovered and became extremely powerful, such as Russia and China. The downfall of Muslim world was caused by Muslims and not by anyone else. If we stayed on Allah's path, we'd be more successful
