I’ve been Muslim for many years but Ive never understood why men wearing gold is prohibited but I can have diamonds , which r much more valuable than gold, and that’s permissible. I thought gold was haram so we don’t show off our wealth and so we won’t become arrogant, but then we’re allowed to wear diamonds and other jewels?
I always felt like this Hadith extended to all types of jewelry, not just gold. I feel like that would make more sense
