There is a masjid that video streams their jummah (both Khutba and salah) online.

Is it acceptable to.....

  1. Attend the jummah virtually due to being tied up with work. Basically say I had a meeting prior to jummah which would cut into my commute to the masjid and prevent me from being there on time.

  2. Attend the jummah virtually out of convenience (no other specific reason.) I assume no, without a valid reason
