The Hadeeth: Sunnah

- The Age and Height of Prophet Adam:
Hadeeth: Sunnah
Prophet Adam died 940 years old (960 in another Hadeeth) , and his height was 28-30 m during the creation , but not mentioned what was it after his descend to the earth , this means ANY assumptions on a human of that age/height/birth doesn't work , I will discuss the meaning of this long age later.

- The Evolution of Horses:
Look at this image , there were pre-historic horses of the height of a fox , so why not Adam ?

- The Natural Balance:
The law of nature is ; the bigger the longer.
Example , look at the fly next to you , this fly has a normal lifespan of 4 weeks , this means that the age and size of the creation are directly proportional , and if this wasn't true , and a fly can live as long as you can , then you wouldn't have been alive reading this now !
Also the number of human beings now (and their lifespan) is incomparable to their number at the time of Adam , the earth would have been rusted already with giants everywhere on it's face , nature is controlling us and not the opposite.
This is one of the evidence that there's a Creator behind this nature adjusting every detail in it:
إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَاهُ بِقَدَرٍ
( 54/49 ) Indeed, all things We created with predestination.

- The Mankind since Adam:
Hadeeth: Sunnah
This Hadeeth points out that the only One who knows the number of people born since Adam is their Creator , Allah ..... The time it took for us reach this height is very very long , and this means the time of Prophet Moses is VERY close to ours than we think , Allah said to Moses:
إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ
( 20/15 ) Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives.
For non-Muslims reading this , the Hour means the End of Time.

- The Age of Prophet Noah:
When Allah mentioned Noah's age , He said:
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ
( 29/14 ) And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years minus fifty years, and the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers.
The long age of Noah is identical to Adam , this means he and his people (who drowned) were of the same height of Adam.
Now assume that Noah was not of Adam's height , that means a man of our height lived 950 years , and if this was real , then his normal body (and like a normal human) must have wear out at the maximum of 200 years at best , to live 950 years with that body is logically impossible !
So it makes sense that he and his people were of Adam's height.

- The Height of the People of A'aad:
A'aad were old Arabs and descendants of Sam , Noah's son:
وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِن بَعْدِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَزَادَكُمْ فِي الْخَلْقِ بَسْطَةً ۖ فَاذْكُرُوا آلَاءَ اللَّهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
( 7/69 ) And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah and increased you in stature extensively. So remember the favors of Allah that you might succeed.
They were of comparable height to Noah , when Allah spoke of their death:
وَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِرِيحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ
سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ وَثَمَانِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومًا فَتَرَى الْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ
( 69/6 ) And as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind
( 69/7 ) Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.
If the palm trees here is a literal meaning , then you can expect that these people were of a height of about 18-24 m , less than Adam's height in the Hadeeth !

- And Still Decreasing (فَلَمْ يَزَلِ الْخَلْقُ يَنْقُصُ بَعْدُ حَتَّى الآنَ):
At Moses time (1400-1300 BCE) , Allah ordered 'Bani Israel' to enter the land of the Canaanites (who were giants) , they complained and said:
قَالُوا يَا مُوسَىٰ إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوْمًا جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَا حَتَّىٰ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فَإِن يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فَإِنَّا دَاخِلُونَ
( 5/22 ) They said, "O Moses, indeed within it is a people of tyrannical strength, and indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter."
And at King David time (1000-900 BCE) , Allah spoke of Saul , the Israelite King:
قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَاهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَزَادَهُ بَسْطَةً فِي الْعِلْمِ وَالْجِسْمِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يُؤْتِي مُلْكَهُ مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
( 2/247 ) He said, "Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you and has increased him abundantly in knowledge and stature. And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing [in favor] and Knowing."
Not to mention Goliath who Prophet David killed , his height was not mentioned in the Qur'an but instead in the Torah (or the Old Testament) , but I will not put it here since his height was a contradiction in different Bible versions , no need to open that topic here.

- Contradicts with Human Fossils:
Not Adam's height , but the answer to this is Allah didn't reveal when Adam was alive on the earth , and this means mankind has been here since millions of years we can not precisely count.
All what's left is to guess , which is not recommended.

- We didn't find Fossils of this Height:
Try to open a grave of somebody deceased years ago , I bet you can find anything.
That's why mummification was a thing !
( 56/47 ) And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
( 56/48 ) And our forefathers [as well]?"
( 56/49 ) Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples
( 56/50 ) Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day."

- A Mistake Understanding the Hadeeth:
Some scholars wrongly interpret the Hadeeth that Allah created Adam on "his" image , with "his" referring to Allah , and this is very wrong since it contradicts the Qur'an , Allah said:
لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
( 42/11 ) There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
The correct meaning is that Allah created Adam in the image of a man , unlike a normal human who is born.

- Adam , his Height , Age and Creation are part of the Unseen:
Allah revealed the height of Adam (without explanation) for a purpose , same for every Unseen He revealed to Muhammad (PBUH) , remember:
۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي أَن يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا ۚ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلًا ۘ يُضِلُّ بِهِ كَثِيرًا وَيَهْدِي بِهِ كَثِيرًا ۚ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِ إِلَّا الْفَاسِقِينَ
( 2/26 ) Indeed, Allah is not timid to present an example - that of a mosquito or what is smaller than it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allah intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient.
