Is it true that repeating Allah's name has benefits?

So I saw that apparently reciting 99 names of allah each time has its own reward.

An example is Ar-Rahman: "Those that recite it 100 times after every obligatory prayer will have enhanced memory and awareness. That person will also find people being nicer to him.

The thing is each name apparently reading it a number of time has benefit. But the thing is I can't find any hadith proving that reading it this amount of time will ensure it will happen.

All you need to write is Allah's name benefit and it will come up. In fact I remember my mother giving me the small book with Allah's name which contained the benefits of reading each name with its own number.

But I'm scared it is shirk to believe in this stuff?
