I have a question: Will a person be held accountable for doubtful things on the day of judgement?

For example on some topics there are people saying "This is haram" and others saying "this halal" and if one were to be believe that it is halal, not even due to the person wanting it to be simply halal but because he just things its halal due to sayings/unsureness, and at the end the thing to be believed halal were haram and the person would have made a mistake, and doesn't know it only until after death, would the Person on the day of judgement be held accountable for the action or actions?

There is the Hadith:

Ibn Abbas (rali)reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah has overlooked for my nation their honest mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are forced into doing.”

But I was unsure if a honest mistake counts as such
