I’m no historian but I’ve heard from others the first Bengalis and Pakistanis entered the UK and US by boat from the 50’s till 70’s. But prior to WWII the West was predominantly white and Muslims stayed in their own countries. Is this recent ongoing immigration a lasting effect of colonialism in Muslim lands or what?
