Asalam Alaykum everyone!
I had an interesting question come up with a group of friends that I found very interesting. Islam has given us the ability to live in any century, and any society. As one living in the United States, it isn’t easy here as it is overseas to allow marriage, as the issue of mixing culture (biggest house, nicest cars, etc.) has become more important than the children themselves however that is a discussion for another time.
My question is regarding concubines, as one below a wife, and someone you care about can be considered someone you can have an intimate relationship with, with both parties agreeing to it. Inshallah I look forward to all of your replies.
Note: please keep it strictly educational and no argument as this is something I feel is Muslims have fallen out of. We should be able to discuss with one another rather than argue. Salam!
