We blame the West for propping up from dictators and funding and arming groups. But the reality is that we're to blame.
Look how far corrupted and divided we've become. Muslim's in the tenth century sat down and talked and debated. Now if those same conversations were had they'd be called Kafirs or hanged by the government or attacked by a mob. We get offended so easily and the worst part is how hypocritical we are. No one says anything about the Ughyurs but then our leaders shake hands with the French. Yes what France did was wrong and recently we've seen how hypocritical they are. But beheading someone for insulting the Prophet (PBUH) should not lead to that. The Prophet (PBUH) suffered much more than an insult in his life and forgave many. That alone shows how far we've fallen.
Without the Islamic golden age, Europe would not have rose from it's dark ages. We built so much which is now lost and forgotten. Our people have chosen Nationalism over unity of the Ummah. We have corrupt families like the Saudis and Hashemite holding Islam's holiest sites. We have Erdogan who's seen as the best leader in the Ummah today. A man who's basically a dictator, who arrests people if they disagree with him. That should show how blinded and deluded we've become. People need to see, these leaders don't care for the Ummah but either their own interest or national interests. The Iranian Regime uses Shia unity in places like Iraq. Not because it cares that Iraq has a Shia populace. Because it allows them to have a buffer state against the West and it's allies. While they kill their own people and oppress any opposition.
We can't force Islam on people. It has pushed so many away. Islamic laws aren't supposed to be brutal or cruel. These people have adopted these ideas from empires which happened to be Muslim. But only cared about their own seat of power and expansion. Sharia Law is not stoning someone who's accused or is gay. It's not forcing a woman to be inside and cook and cover up. Imagine telling the Prophet (PBUH) wives or daughters to cook or clean. Then Aisha would not have achieved what she did as a scholar and a judge. She should be shown as a role model for Muslims woman.
I'm sorry I'm ranting. But I see it truly pathetic to see where we're at in the world. We rely so much on the West and sit their. We're expecting another Saladin while the world burns and we start talking about how it's all ending and how some of you want to fight for the Mahdi. The signs for Judgement aren't all there yet. You want to fight? Rebuild your countries. Focus on education and unity. Build an Islamic Union. And a strong military and economy. So we can't be bullied.
The reality is we deserve this because are people don't want to change and have accepted where we are with no ideals to progress. This is not just the everyday person but leaders too.
The only thing giving me hope is China. Before you raise a fist. Let me explain. China was in poverty in the 50s and 60s and focused on itself. Partially out of spite due to the century of humiliation. Yes I hate what they're doing to the Ughyurs. But China's growth and even SK in just a short span. Shows that we do have potential to overcome most of our issues within a 10-20 year time frame.
