I’ve heard scholars such as assim al hakeem say that it is absolutely haram and some even say it’s a form of kufr or munafiq.
However I have taken an Australian citizenship and may take another non Muslim citizenship depending where I end up going to uni/work.
So what is your opinion on this. Why do so many Muslims take non Muslim citizenship if this is the case. or is this a minority opinion, if so where is the proof?
