The first time looking into reading hadith, need some help understanding some things before buying a book.

So first all, I prefer a physical book. I get easily distracted if it's something digital. Also has to be translated into English.

Here's where I'm confused, so for example if I want to buy Sahih Bukhari when I go on amazon or ebay, I come across either multiple books or just a single book that says summarized version on it or something. That's where I'm confused, what am I missing out on a summarized version? Is it like a single chain of narration opposed to multiple duplicate chains of narration? Is that like the only difference? Trying to understand that before buying one. Also is there a translator that's overall better recommended versus another? Any other website other than ebay or amazon that has a better deal on buying hadith books?
