Is god trying to guide me or are those just random events?

Hello everyone,

Before I begin I want clarify one thing, this is just account I recently made to remain anonymous as I don't seek to use my main reddit account for this serious and very personal matter.

I'm a 20 years old christian man who has been away from religion for five years (I don't pray or attend church) Recently I have been debating with an Arab Muslim roommate of mine about religion and god. I told him numerous things like "if Islam was the real religion why aren't living a good life if you pray a lot and follow the rules? he always refuses to tell me and says he is not "educated enough" for this matter and I always just forget about the topic and laugh it out with him, but just four days ago everything changed.

Just a few days ago I was sleeping and out of nowhere I had a dream that I was in mecca of all places (keep in mind that I never thought of that place, like literally never) I recall the dream by detail which is even more weirder. I remember being next to the "kabaa" while its getting built and I saw people going around it. For some reason I felt idiotic just standing alone watching so I started going around it not knowing what to say or do. I tried to leave the Kabaa by walking out, but for some reason I wasn't able to, something was holding me back and the dream ended there.

Just today after having a family fight on the phone and I was pissed and decided to go over on youtube to listen to some music and out of nowhere I see a Quran two hour video that has title of "Surat Ali Imran" and the thumbnail had the following in English "And Allah made it not expect as [a sign of] good tidings for and to reassure your hearts thereby. And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the wise -" after seeing that I was super weirded out becasue I had never searched for Quran on my phone becasue I just didn't care or thought about doing so.

Are those random events or what exactly? should I consider going to a mosque and ask there?
