I recently adopted two kittens and they’re about to be 5 months old, and I couldn’t be any happier, but because they’re of opposite gender, it runs the risk of an unwanted pregnancy between them. I’ve talked to my mother about getting them fixed, and she understands it’s in our best interest, but she’s worried it’s haram.
I know it seems like we made a bad decision of adopting two kittens of the opposite gender but they were rescue siblings who couldn’t find a home, and we couldn’t just ignore them.
