People of the Muslim faith, why does China get a pass for what they are doing to the Uighur people by the more extreme individuals in the community.

First of all, this is not a Troll post. Over the past year I've read a bunch of articles about the reeducation camps in northern China where approx 1 million Uighur people are confined and forced to leave their religion. Is this something discussed in your community? I understand the West has a long history of grievance against Islam & has caused centuries of built up frustration, but I'm curious why there seems to be apathy for them among Muslims?

Once again not a troll post, just curious why I never hear about protest or attacks over the treatment of the Uighur people in China.
