r/MuslimWithDoubt is now open. An open space for Muslims who have persistent doubts in Islam and would like to discuss them with Muslims who will call them to Islam, not away from it.

I created this sub r/MuslimWithDoubt because there’s not really a place where Muslims who have persistent doubts can discuss them as much as they want without their post being removed and their intentions questioned. This can lead to people seeking more open or nonmuslim subs like progressive Islam or r/exmuslim.

Ideally one should talk to someone knowledgeable but we know that’s not really an option for many, whether it’s because of lack of access (because you’re a woman, location, etc.,), or because of one’s surrounding culture of prevalent judgemental attitudes towards expressing doubt.

I encourage sincere knowledgeable Muslims to please frequent this sub if you think you can answer some questions in an empathetic and thoughtful manner.
