Hi all,
I'd like to preface by stating that I am coming from a place of deep respect and the utmost sincerity. I am reaching out to see if I can get any help with the upcoming holiday season. My brother-in-law has recently converted to the Islamic faith. His family (as well as myself) are from the Catholic faith. My in-laws do not really respect his conversion of faith. However, I deeply respect him and his conversion to Islam. I will be spending the Christmas holiday with my in-laws and I wanted to reach out to see if there is anything I can do special for him during this holiday season. I am in no way looking to convert him or to push his faith at all. I am simply looking for things to do during the Christmas holiday that will honor and respect his faith, but at the same time not exclude him from the festivities that come with the family being together. If you have any ideas of ways I can help him celebrate the season, but also respect his religious beliefs I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you have.
Again, I am not looking to convert or ANYTHING. I deeply respect his faith, I simply wish to include him in the festivities with our family.
Thank you for anyone who can help.
Edit: Added flair
