hi there! still trying to learn about islam, still trying to shake my sins of drinking, debauchery, and really just all sins in general so i'm trying my best to study Islam and read the Quran and this book i bought called " In the Footsteps of the Prophet: Lessons from the Life of Muhammad " and "
The Translation of the Meanings of Summarized Sahih Al-Bukhari: Arabic-English (English, Arabic and Arabic Edition". It's been a bumpy road from living in constant sin ( even as I type this) to trying to learn more about Islam. Sorry for the rambling, I do that when I drink. But A question I had was is it a sin to practice praying? I grew up, well more like forced to be catholic as a child and as the less I drink and The more I become a man I started to have a interest in Islam thanks to like of Malcolm X and the solidarity the community has. My Goal is to quit drinking, quit really all sins I'm doing in the daily basis. Any way, Sorry for the ramble.
