I'm a Muslim woman, and have never worn the hijab. In saying that, I practice modesty in my sense of dressing speech and lifestyle. When asked by other Muslims and friends why I don't practice wearing the head scarf, I'm unable to come up with a strong argument except for the Ayah from Surah Nisa that speaks only of a " veil over your bosom".
