Many Christians do not acknowledge that their God and Allah are the same being, I was curious if Muslims also sought to separate Allah from the Christian God?

I have had MANY discussions with Christians on reddit over the years and its common for them to claim that Allah is not the same entity as their god.

I have heard everything from Allah is the devil, Allah is a false God, Allah is an ancient moon god, and many others.

Is this also a common belief in Islam that Allah and the Christian/Jewish god are different or is it generally accepted that they are the same?

I personally am convinced they are the same, but I would love to hear what any one of the Islamic faith thinks.
