1920s: WW1

1940s: WW2

1960s: Vietnam war

1980s: First Gulf War

2000s: Second Gulf War

We are now coming into the 2020s. The economic troughs and crests require the United States to wage war. War is profitable and boosts economy. As the economy takes a downturn into recession, who will it be this time? Iran?
